Course Overview

This MOOC is centred around Digital Facilitation and Community Engagement themes, particularly emphasising the skills needed for online facilitation in current and future challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.  It aims to provide youth workers with tools to engage effectively in individual and group learning environments.

The course will be structured into modules and units and feature diverse content, including videos, quizzes, text, graphics, and other interactive materials tailored for easy and enjoyable learning.

The course is connected to the Power Youth Up project – an international initiative designed for local implementation across Europe. The project addresses challenges in youth work and the methodologies employed with local groups. Guided by the central principle of “Empowering Us to Empower Youth,” the project aims to strengthen participating organizations by developing innovative methodologies and strategies to engage young people in community and youth spaces.

“Power Youth Up” is a cooperation partnership for creativity and innovation in collaboration with Youth Coop (Portugal), Associação Novo Mundo Azul (Portugal), Fundația Județeană pentru Tineret Timiș (Romania), Centro Fonti San Lorenzo (Italy), Asociación P.O.D. (Spain) and Solidarity Tracks (Greece). It is co-financed on the European level by the Erasmus+ program, represented by ‘Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Juventude/Desporto e CES’.

This project is funded by the European Union.
